Scott Fitchett has been promoted to sales director at hydraulic concrete pile cropping equipment rental company National Pile Croppers (NPC).

Scott Fitchett has been promoted to sales director at hydraulic concrete pile cropping equipment rental company National Pile Croppers (NPC).

The appointment comes ahead of the International Foundation Congress and Equipment Expo (7-10 May 2024, Dallas, Texas), where NPC will be exhibiting its range of hydraulic pile croppers alongside its North American partner, International Drilling Equipment (IDE), which provides foundation equipment and drill rigs alongside client education and aftermarket support.

Scott has been involved in project managing, supplying, and advising on the use of hydraulic pile croppers for many years, being part of the original team that formed National Pile Croppers in 2018.

Commenting on the promotion, business development officer, Ian English, National Pile Croppers said: “Scott’s appointment is testament to his hard work, expertise, and industry knowledge. A pile cropping professional with many years of experience, he has been integral to the success of the UK Midlands-based company.

“Scott was part of the original National Pile Cropper team and has played a vital role in delivering hydraulic pile cropping solutions. He is known and trusted by contractors and construction companies large and small. His appointment as sales director recognises his achievements and track record of success throughout the United Kingdom and, increasingly, globally.”

With nearly a quarter of a century of experience in civil engineering, Scott has been the face of National Pile Cropper to many contractors and construction companies, having coordinated projects across the UK, Ukraine, Europe, and the US.

Scott was also the driving force behind the establishment of National Pile Croppers’ customer support centre in Scotland and has been involved in training and supporting distributors across the globe.

Speaking about his promotion, Scott said: “I am incredibly honoured to receive this totally unexpected promotion. I have loved my time at National Pile Croppers, and it is a major source of pride to have played a small role in making National Pile Croppers the leading supplier of pile cropping attachments.

“It is not just about me though, and my promotion would not have been possible if it had not been for the excellent work of the designers, customer help desk, shop floor staff, and engineers.”
