Concrete Drive Thru for Minster Paving

Concrete Drive Thru (CDT) features include a 0.5 m3 mixer, four sand and aggregate bins, a 40-tonne cement silo, with silo protection, and a self-service kiosk

Wotmix, UK distributor for Concrete Drive Thru (CDT), has sold the second unit of it's batching plant in the UK to family-owned Minster Paving.

Minster Paving manufacture and supply paving slabs, porcelain, natural stone, and block paving to retail and trade customers across the country from its base in Witney, near Oxford, alongside a full range of patio products, including slabs, stepping stones, circle patio feature kits, and decorative aggregates.

The CDT unit features a 0.5 m³ mixer, four sand and aggregate bins, a 40-tonne cement silo, with silo protection, and a self-service kiosk, and can be configured to produce both customer collections and on-site coloured concrete.

Products include semi-dry concrete in both 10 and 20mm aggregate, no-fines concrete, 10 and 20mm aggregate, landscaping bedding screed, flooring screed, fibre screed, and CBS (Cement Bound Sand), a weak 14:1 sand to cement mix, predominately used as a backfill material for electrical cable installations in trenches. CBS protects the cable, reduces moisture migration, and removes the need to limit external cable surface temperature during the summer.

Minster Paving manufacture and supply paving slabs, porcelain, natural stone, and block paving to retail and trade customers.

“This CDT not only makes things easier for Minster's customers to self-serve when collecting concrete products, but also boosts the production of high strength coloured concrete for their state-of-the-art paving products manufacturing facility,” says Scott Haughton, managing director, Wotmix.

“Using the CDT means customers can say goodbye to waiting times, and the complexities of ordering construction materials,” explains Scott. “Orders can be tailored to your exact specifications with our user-friendly touch-screen interface, while customised volumes from 0.25m³, mean you collect just what you need.”

Minster Paving's new Concrete Drive Thru is the second unit sold by Wotmix into the UK.
