FPS Awards 2025 now open for entries
The Federation of Piling Specialists has opened entries for the 2025 FPS Awards, which return for their ninth year this November to recognise excellence across the geotechnical and foundation engineering sector.
The Federation of Piling Specialists (FPS) has officially launched the 2025 edition of its annual awards, celebrating outstanding achievements and contributions across the UK’s piling and ground engineering community.
Now in their ninth year, the FPS Awards will take place on Friday 21 November at the Hilton London Bankside. The black-tie event is expected to draw around 300 professionals from across the sector, with categories recognising both individual and team performance, as well as innovation in safety, sustainability, and project delivery.
This year’s ceremony will be hosted by FPS chair Malcolm O’Sullivan alongside guest co-host Alexander Armstrong, the well-known comedian and presenter.
Seven award categories are now open to FPS members and associate members:
- Safety Innovation Award
- Sustainability Award
- Geotechnical Solutions Award
- Project Leadership Award
- Geotechnical Team Award
- Chair’s Award
- Lifetime Achievement Award
Entry is free and open until Friday 10 October. Full details on how to apply can be found at fps.org.uk.
The event will also feature a drinks and canapé reception, three-course dinner, live comedy from Armstrong, and an after-party with a DJ and informal networking space.
Tickets are available to FPS members, associate members, and their clients or partners, priced at £185 (+VAT) for members and £240 (+VAT) for non-members. Registration closes on 7 November.
