Call for papers opens for UK Concrete Show 2026
The UK Concrete Show has opened its call for papers for the 2026 event, taking place from 25–26 March at the NEC, Birmingham.
The seminar programme, hosted in the Concrete Connect Seminar Theatre, has become a highlight of the show. Last year’s sessions drew standing-room-only audiences and sparked debate on issues ranging from sustainable concrete and net zero pathways to regulatory change, repair techniques and digital technologies.
Organisers are now seeking proposals that offer fresh insights into the future of sustainable concrete, case studies showcasing genuine innovation, or the latest technologies driving change in repair and maintenance.
Susannah Streeter, broadcaster and sustainability commentator, will return as chair. Sessions will comprise 15-minute presentations followed by Q&A, concluding with a panel discussion to encourage dialogue between speakers and delegates.
“Being part of the programme is an opportunity to make a real contribution to the UK’s concrete construction sector,” organisers said. “Speakers can share expertise, research or project experience, helping to advance collective knowledge and inspire meaningful change.”
Proposals must be submitted by Friday 5 December 2025. Full details are available at concreteshow.co.uk/call-papers.
