Ashcourt adds new 42m Liebherr concrete pump to fleet
The Ashcourt Group has strengthened its concrete operations with the addition of a new Liebherr 42m truck-mounted concrete pump, expanding its capability to deliver large pours and precision placements across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.
The new model, featuring a five-part multi-fold distributor boom, offers a vertical reach of 41.2 metres and a horizontal reach of 37.2 metres, making it suitable for both high-rise and hard-to-access sites. Its low unfolding height of just 8.6 metres ensures smooth operation in confined urban environments.
At the core of the 42m pump is Liebherr’s Powerbloc drive unit, which integrates all hydraulic switching and measuring elements into a single compact block. This innovation delivers reliable performance, reduced downtime, and quieter operation on site. Capable of delivering up to 167 cubic metres of concrete per hour at 80 bar pressure, the pump can handle large-scale pours efficiently and safely.
Since joining the fleet, the new unit has been supporting operations at Manton Quarry and a range of commercial and infrastructure projects throughout the region.
The investment underscores Ashcourt’s ongoing commitment to providing high-performance concrete delivery solutions and meeting growing regional demand for precision pumping in modern construction.
