Hydreco opens Indian plant to boost global production
UK-headquartered hydraulic systems specialist Hydreco Hydraulics has opened a new manufacturing plant in Bangalore, India, as part of its global expansion strategy. The facility will support high-performance applications in construction, agriculture, and industrial automation — including mobile concrete equipment.
The 2,500-square-metre site in Nelamangala includes modern assembly lines, logistics infrastructure, and 800 square metres of sustainable office space. It will act as a regional hub for production, engineering support, and training, helping Hydreco serve key markets across the APAC region more efficiently.
Katie McColl, CEO of Hydreco, said: “India plays a pivotal role in Hydreco’s long-term vision. This new facility not only boosts our production capabilities but also allows us to localise engineering, improve lead times, and serve our customers with greater agility.”
Hydreco products are widely used in mobile concrete pumps, mixers, and placing booms. The company’s UK presence remains central to its operations, and the new site is expected to improve global resilience and availability across construction supply chains.
Ananth Bangalore Suryanarayana, managing director of Hydreco India, added: “We are proud to open this plant in the heart of Karnataka. It reflects our ambition to grow with our customers and deliver engineered solutions tailored to India and the wider APAC region.”
Part of the Daikin Group, Hydreco Hydraulics operates production and sales facilities across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia.
