The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is inviting construction professionals to take part in a short survey to help improve its RIDDOR data dashboard, a tool designed to provide greater insight into reportable incidents across the UK’s industries.

The dashboard, which visualises data collected under the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR), aims to help users better understand health and safety risks by presenting information on emerging trends and common incident types.

The 10-minute multiple-choice survey seeks feedback on the dashboard’s current functionality, as well as views on how it could be further developed to benefit the construction industry.

HSE hopes that by engaging with stakeholders, it can shape a more useful resource for risk management, trend analysis and strategic planning in high-risk sectors like construction.

Construction professionals are encouraged to participate in the RIDDOR dashboard survey.

RIDDOR requires employers, the self-employed and those in control of work premises to report certain work-related injuries, diseases and dangerous occurrences. The data collected helps authorities monitor safety performance and identify where improvements are needed.
