Mecbo launches tracked pumps in US market
Mecbo America launches tracked concrete pumps for US construction sector
Mecbo America, a division of Blastcrete Equipment formed through a distribution agreement with Italy-based Mecbo, has launched two new tracked concrete pumps designed for high-output concrete work across construction and tunnelling applications in the United States (US).
The CARTRACK P6 and P7 models pair a 150 or 180 horsepower electric or diesel pump with a crawler undercarriage, offering enhanced mobility and stability on uneven or challenging ground. Designed for tasks such as continuous flight augering, drilling, and commercial concreting, the pumps can deliver between 104 and 144 cubic yards per hour (approximately 80 to 110 m³/h).
Each pump features Mecbo’s patented PULSAR system, engineered for smooth delivery and reduced maintenance. Its long stroke design enables greater concrete throughput with minimal component wear. The system also minimises pressure fluctuation, improving performance on long-distance pump lines — a key factor for infrastructure or foundation projects.
“Track-mounted pumps are not new to this market, but what we’ve done is add Mecbo’s patented PULSAR pump, which offers more power and lower maintenance demands,” said Scott Knighton, co-CEO of Blastcrete.

Designed with ease of use in mind, the pumps come with toggle-based radio remote controls, avoiding the common frustrations of touchscreen controls on dirty sites. Additional options include a water pump, compressor, hopper screen vibrator, and soundproofing for noise-sensitive locations or night work.
Both the P6 and P7 are available with standard crawler undercarriages, but can also be fitted to wheeled or truck-mounted chassis for other operating environments. Safety features include walkways, steps, handrails, and lighting for operator access.
Though launched for the North American market, the technology is likely to attract interest from UK and European concrete contractors working in tunnelling, civil engineering, or remote access construction. The tracked format and simplified controls may also appeal to those delivering foundation works or shotcrete in constrained or unstable environments.
