Mona Precast marks 25 years with KVM block plant

Mona Precast of Anglesey is celebrating 25 years of production with its KVM concrete block plant, which has supplied thousands of tonnes of concrete products across Wales, England and Scotland since installation in 2000.

The plant, delivered by Danish equipment specialist KVM, has been supported throughout its life by spare parts from the company’s UK office in Derby – itself marking 40 years in the UK this year – and by regular engineering visits from Denmark.

Recent upgrades include new product handling equipment, installed in 2025, which was described as still “looking and operating like new”. KVM said the long-standing partnership with Mona Precast demonstrates the value of ongoing collaboration between equipment suppliers and precast producers.
