Utranazz debuts remote-controlled concrete mixer range
Utranazz has launched a new range of IMER Superlight concrete mixers equipped with remote-controlled discharge systems, making them the first in the UK to offer this feature as standard. Designed to improve safety and operational efficiency on site, the mixers were officially unveiled during the company’s Open Day on 13 and 14 June 2025.
The new 9 m³ capacity mixers feature a lightweight drum manufactured from 3 mm-thick IMER WEAR Steel, reducing unladen weight and allowing for increased payloads. Utranazz says the lighter build also supports improved fuel efficiency and lower emissions, in line with growing demand for more sustainable concrete transport solutions.

Each unit is fitted with a wired remote (or "wander lead") control system, giving operators full control over the discharge process from a safe vantage point. This added mobility is particularly beneficial when used in tandem with concrete pumps, allowing operators to monitor and adjust the pour from behind or beside the truck.
Customer responses at the Open Day highlighted the ease-of-use and safety features. “You can move around to the back of the vehicle, or even to the opposite side when using it with a concrete pump,” one customer at the event commented. “That means you can see exactly what’s going on and stop the pour if needed—or reposition quickly.”
