Biker Group opens £1.5m concrete plant in Stockton
Biker Group has opened a new £1.5 million concrete plant in Stockton-on-Tees, strengthening its concrete division and creating up to eight new jobs.
The North Yorkshire-based family business said the investment will expand its reach across Teesside, improving service for domestic, commercial, agricultural and industrial customers. The Stockton facility is equipped with the latest technology for producing both ready-mix and volumetric concrete, allowing flexible supply to projects of all sizes.
Biker Group’s concrete division already operates across North Yorkshire and the North East, supplying a wide range of mixes including standard ready-mix, high-strength grades and specialist concretes tailored for flooring, agriculture and civil engineering. The addition of the Stockton site improves coverage across the Tees Valley and complements existing plants in the region.
Sam Biker, director at Biker Group Concrete, said: “Our Stockton-on-Tees plant is a strategic step forward for the concrete division. We’ve built strong relationships with our existing clients, and this new location allows us to better serve the Teesside area while continuing to deliver the high-quality service and products our customers expect.”
The move marks another milestone in the group’s growth. Alongside concrete production, Biker Group operates across bespoke joinery, construction, groundworks, haulage and aggregates. Founded in North Yorkshire, the company employs more than 250 people across its divisions.
