Call for entries: FPS Awards 2025 now open

The Federation of Piling Specialists (FPS) has opened entries for its 2025 Awards, offering members and associate members a chance to showcase outstanding achievements across safety, sustainability, technical excellence and leadership in the ground engineering sector.

The awards recognise individuals and teams who have demonstrated innovation, collaboration and a commitment to progress in the piling and geotechnical industry. Entries are open until Friday 10 October 2025, with seven award categories available:

• Safety Innovation Award – for practical initiatives that have measurably improved site or organisational safety.
• Sustainability Award – celebrating projects that have reduced carbon emissions through smarter design, materials, construction methods or digital innovation.
• Geotechnical Solutions Award – recognising collaborative engineering that solved complex ground challenges.
• Project Leadership Award – open to individuals at all stages of their career who have led with skill, insight and client focus.
• Geotechnical Team Award – honouring high-performing teams known for collaboration and problem-solving.
• Chair’s Award – selected by the FPS Executive Committee to recognise contributions to FPS values and goals.
• Lifetime Achievement Award – celebrating a career of significant influence and dedication to the piling sector.

The awards are free to enter and open exclusively to FPS members and associate members. More information and application forms are available on the FPS website.

The winners will be announced at a black-tie ceremony on Friday 21 November 2025, hosted at the five-star Hilton London Bankside. The evening will include a drinks reception, three-course meal, awards presentation and entertainment from comedian and presenter Alexander Armstrong. An afterparty with a DJ and additional catering will round off the night.
