The US National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA) has added the Louisiana Concrete Association (LCA) as its newest Affiliate member.
LCA joins 17 other regional groups who together with NPCA aim to help grow the concrete industry within their respective areas.
Formerly the Concrete & Aggregates Association of Louisiana, LCA represents organizations in Louisiana that promote the use of concrete in construction throughout the state, providing the public with “quality products that are safe, cost-effective and environmentally sound”.
LCA members include companies working within the precast concrete industry as well as cast-in-place concrete, concrete pipe, precast/prestressed, concrete paving and companies that supply those industries.
“LCA is the leading voice of the concrete industry in Louisiana, and we are excited to join with them to promote the advantages of concrete within the Bayou State,” said Tom Rodak, vice president of marketing and communications at NPCA.
“Our common goal offers us numerous advantages, including the sharing of expertise, the expansion of our networks, heightened industry visibility, strengthened advocacy endeavors and increased business prospects for our members.”
“One of the core tenants of the Louisiana Concrete Association is to promote the use of concrete and concrete products,” said Michael Demouy, executive director, LCA. “To do this effectively it is imperative for our Association and its members to have access to timely and relevant industry information. Partnering with an industry leader such as NPCA does just that and more.”
NPCA Affiliates include leading organizations from throughout North America and around the world who combine expertise, resources and relationships to grow the industry and achieve common goals.
