RBL creates residential and commercial divisions

Roger Bullivant (RBL) has announced a strategic restructure to sharpen market focus, improve operational efficiency and support long-term growth across the UK. The foundation engineering specialist has created two divisions: residential, led by Gareth Griffiths, and commercial, led by Jim Hargrave.

The residential division will cover England and Wales, retaining a strong local presence through RBL’s regional offices to stay responsive to housing demand. The commercial division will target opportunities in industrial, commercial, energy and infrastructure markets, consolidating RBL’s offer across its foundation solutions portfolio.

David Clement, managing director at RBL, said: “These appointments reflect our confidence in Gareth and Jim’s leadership and our commitment to building a balanced, resilient business. Their expertise and vision will be instrumental as we continue to grow and innovate across disparate market sectors.”

RBL said the structure is intended to keep the business agile and locally engaged while aligning technical expertise with sector needs. The company’s manufacturing facility has capacity to produce over one million metres of precast concrete piles annually, together with 180,000 linear metres of precast beam, supporting delivery across both divisions.

The changes take immediate effect as RBL positions for growth in core UK markets.
