Blockmakers Workshops 2026 schedule announced

The World Center for Concrete Technology (WCCT), in partnership with Besser Company, has released the 2026 schedule for its internationally recognised Blockmakers Workshops. The programme, which runs across twelve weeks of instruction, continues to "set the standard for technical training in concrete masonry and hardscape manufacturing".

A high level of producer interest has led to the introduction of a new course — All About Molds — designed to deepen understanding of mould design, care, and performance. The course will run twice in 2026, in April and October.

The workshops begin in January with the popular Concrete Masonry Technology course, followed by Productivity Improvement, Manufacturing, Advanced Concrete Masonry Technology, Executive Session, and the Hardscape Products course. Each session combines classroom instruction with practical, hands-on training, giving participants the skills to improve product quality, plant efficiency, and safety.
