GB Concrete takes delivery of first Cemen Tech C60 mixer
Volumech, part of US-based Cemen Tech, has handed over a new C60 volumetric concrete mixer to GB Concrete & Pump – the company’s first Cemen Tech vehicle.
The handover included on-site calibration and operator training, with Volumech also providing concrete testing, mix design, guidance through the BSI process, and ongoing repair and parts support for GB Concrete’s wider fleet.
The Cemen Tech C60 is one of the market’s most advanced volumetric mixers. It can produce up to 46 m³ of concrete per hour, with a carrying capacity of 6–7.5 m³ depending on configuration. Its cement bin holds 3.3–4 m³, while its 1,930-litre water tank supports continuous batching.
Key features of the C60 include a fully automated one-button start/stop system with pre-programmed mix designs for consistency, along with Auto-Washout and Auto-Stow systems to speed up and simplify cleaning. The truck uses dual auger cement metering with vibrating bins to ensure reliable flow, supported by digital flow meters on admixtures for precise dosing. A 360° swivel chute provides flexible discharge on site, while the lightweight, high-strength Strenx steel body maximises payload and reduces vehicle weight.
David O’Connell, general manager at Volumech, said the mixer was supplied with “our full wraparound service to ensure GB Concrete get the most out of their new investment from day one.”
The vehicle is now in service, with Volumech confirming it will continue to provide full operational support “every mix of the way.”
