SBM highlights concrete tech at bauma
SBM Mineral Processing placed its concrete mixing technology front and centre at bauma 2025, with new plant models, system upgrades and detailed scale models attracting strong interest throughout the Munich-based trade fair.
Among the key highlights was the EUROMIX 1600 NOVA, SBM’s most compact mobile concrete mixing plant, making its first public appearance since launch in November. With an 80 m³/h output via a BHS DKX 1.67 twin-shaft mixer, the EUROMIX 1600 NOVA is designed for small to medium-sized construction sites, offering flexibility for up to 800 m³ of daily production, including high-quality, special or recycled concrete.
Despite its high output, the plant is easy to transport and can be fully operational within eight hours using a mobile crane. SBM says its compact footprint, modular design and all-weather functionality – including a winter package – make it suitable as a temporary or permanent mixing solution. Visitors were particularly impressed by the improved internal space, which simplifies maintenance access.
The EUROMIX is one of seven mobile plant models in SBM’s portfolio, with outputs ranging from 80 to 175 m³/h, or up to 300 m³/h in the dual “Duo” setup. It was shown alongside other SBM concrete technologies, including models from the DYNAMIX, VARIOMIX, LINEMIX and TOWERMIX ranges.
“The great flexibility of EUROMIX technology across all performance classes was particularly impressive to many visitors,” said Ernst Stöttinger, SBM sales director for concrete mixing technology. He added that the plant's premium design, adaptability and potential for use in precast production made it a strong draw for contractors and concrete producers.
While SBM also presented equipment for rock processing and recycling – including the REMAX 600 impact crusher and the JAWMAX 300 jaw crusher – it was the concrete systems that proved especially relevant to companies seeking efficiency, sustainability and rapid deployment.
